Look Beyond Thought and Discover Your Inspiration  | Video

Where does inspiration come from? How do we tap into more inspiration in our lives and in our work?

Regardless of whether I’m working with an executive leader, an entrepreneur, a coach or hanging with family and friends, this question often comes up in one way or another. All of us want to feel inspired, connected and that our lives and work matter.

And when we feel off, we start to look outside for the answer. We wonder if we’re in the right job, the right relationship or if we need to relocate or shake things up in our lives. We start evaluating and questioning the circumstances of our lives thinking that if those are aligned we’ll be more inspired.

We feel the “ho-humness” of things and assume it’s the job, the house, the lack of relationship that is making us feel this way. And then we feel like a victim of the situation. We start to say things like, “Well, I have to put up with it for now”, “I don’t know what I want to do”, etc.

Here’s the good news…inspiration, well-being, connection is not reliant on circumstance.

We experience life and ourselves from the inside out. Our experience, our lack of inspiration is coming from Thought not from life. And we can have ANY thought in ANY moment about ANY thing.

SEEING this and KNOWING that we create our experience of life from the power of Thought is incredibly empowering.

When we take our thinking too seriously, it bogs us down. Often rational and reasonable thinking is the hardest to see. We take it at face value and believe it. As a result, we rain on our own parade. Our thoughts become a wet blanket to our inspiration.

Once we SEE THOUGHT at play, we are able to go beyond our thinking to a deeper truth. We tune into our deeper nature. As a result, we are able to tap into natural states of inspiration.

Our default setting is well-being, connection and inspiration.

Another way to explain innate well-being is…ALL OF US HAVE AN INFINITE WELL OF BEING INSIDE US.

And when we connect to that, we naturally experience more joy, inspiration and connection. We are touched by life.

We do not find inspiration, but we uncover the inspiration that already lies hidden beneath the maze of our thoughts.

When we take our thoughts less seriously, we naturally GO BEYOND THOUGHT to the RICHER FEELING OF LIFE.

As you connect to this deeper quality of life, evolution takes place – evolution of the conscious state within you. We don’t have to “get on our cases” or “make shifts happen”. Shifts of understanding, new thoughts, are natural.

Inspiration doesn’t need to be found or created. When we LOOK BEYOND the constant chatter in our minds; we will SEE NEW, FEEL NEW.

When we transcend thought we move into wisdom.

Watch the below short video, where I share a personal example as well as a story about how an entrepreneur misunderstood where his inspiration was coming from. Once he saw the power of thought in his own life he began to experience more joy and fulfillment in his company again.

“We do not find inspiration, but we uncover the inspiration that already lies hidden beneath the maze of our thoughts.”

The barriers between us and our inspiration are not what we imagine, they are not actual barriers; they are things of thought.
