The Powerful Presence From A Free Mind in Business

Interview with Jessie Marcus

Jessie Marcus is an award-winning Producer, known for her ingenuity, positive outlook, calm disposition and sense of humor. She is the Founder/CEO of Wildfire Creative Productions, and has recently been shooting projects on the high seas with Disney, backstage with BET, launching activations with USA network, and the streets of Los Angeles for Dreamworks. Jessie completed a 3-year Master’s Program in Spiritual Psychology, adding another tool to her bag of tricks and bringing those skills to the fast-paced, quick turnaround, production world as well as to her creative expression immersion gatherings called ArtNSoul.

In today’s episode, Jessie Marcus discusses how her relationship to thought has made all the difference in the fast-paced, high- intensity industry of Film & TV. Her ability to view thought as a fleeting, wavering entity has made it possible to navigate working relationships in an open, accepting and supportive manner. Showing up in this way has not only helped keep her own mind clear and calm, but it also helped those she works with to stay composed, even when faced with what looks like conflict. Jessie explains that being “caught up” in thought presents us with problems, while being present offers us opportunity and further creativity. Though it can sometimes look like struggling is a compulsory condition in business, it’s often the very thing holding us back.
