Renee Avril Gorham is Vice President of the Toro Bravo Inc Restaurant Group including Toro Bravo, Tasty n Daughters, Tasty n Alder, Mediterranean Exploration Company, PLAZA DEL TORO, Shalom Y’all, and Bless Your Heart Burgers. She has been a vital part of the Gorham Restaurants’ vision from the beginning, bringing craft, nuance, and hospitality to the front of house service since the start of Toro Bravo with owner, chef, and her now-husband, John Gorham.
Today I’m joined by local entrepreneur, Renee Gorham, to speak about the benefits of a connection and presence-centered business. With the powerful understanding that “no matter what you’re experiencing, whether it’s life, love, health, or business, you are innately okay”, she is able to lead from a place of empathy and compassion. Renee describes how this has boosted employee morale, increased retention rates, and shifted the culture of her restaurants on the whole.
