Or perhaps you’ve decided to start your own business or transition your business and you’re excited about it, but also uncertain because you’re not sure it will work or if you have what it takes?
A few years ago, I was leading a 2-day offsite with about 50 executives. There were a lot of moving parts. I woke up with my mind spinning, my adrenaline pumped and feeling rushed. I wasn’t really conscious of my mood; my mind was focused on getting things done. As I went to the meeting room and started getting ready for the day, I noticed that a number of people sort of looked at me strangely.
What ensures more success…how present we are or how prepared we are? There’s a common theory out there that to be successful in anything you must prepare, practice, and repeat. More hours of preparation lead to more success.
